DESCRIPTION:
APW - Hamilton, Grade 993 with rare two-tone damascene, 21J, 16S, gold-filled original HC with attractive engine turning and engraving detail, fancy white and blue enamel SS dial with gold foil numerals against blue backgrounds, blue color at center, gold foil decorations in two shades, SW-LS, fully capped lever escapement, two-tone gilt and nickel damascene, s#367535. A very attractive watch with a rare two-tone movement finish, this serial number is listed in the Hamilton ledger as having been sold to the Non-Retailing Co. of Lancaster, PA on January 9th, 1907, and this watch is from a group of 40 consecutive serial numbers (367521 to 367560) which the Non-Retailing Co. purchased between December 1906 and March 1907. CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, good two-tone color, few small surface spots to barrel bridge in space between serial number and larger winding wheel, oxide to regulator spring; nearly flawless dial with two minuscule flakes to rim of center hole, some very small flaking under bezel tight along perimeter at 11:30; excellent hands with some small spots of oxide and areas of finish loss; case shows very little wear, no dents or dings, excellent engine turning and engraving detail; tight bow, case shows very little wear; good glass crystal.
